We plan fewer trips, on purpose. Eight people around one long table, a host who would rather show you their kitchen than a monument, and mornings with nowhere to be. No brochure routes. We walk every one of them first — then we take you somewhere we’d go back to.

Five things we don’t bend on.

    Walk it first

    Every route is travelled by us at least three times before anyone pays for it. Most don’t make the cut.

  2. 02

    Eight seats, never nine

    Eight people fit around one table, one boat, one kitchen. Nine is a tour group.

  3. 03

    Hosts, not guides

    We work with people who live there and would rather show you their kitchen than a monument.

  4. 04

    Mornings are free

    At least half the mornings have nothing planned. That’s when the trip usually happens.

  5. 05

    Pay people properly

    Local partners set their own rates, and we publish what share of your trip stays on the ground.
