Slot canyons at first light with Navajo guides, then the long drive north into the valley.
Day 04–05
The valley
Walking the backcountry trails, a night in a hogan, and stories told at the right time of day.
Day 06–07
High desert
Fry bread near Kayenta, a mesa-top hike, and two nights under canvas by the buttes.
Day 08
Out
Sunrise from camp, breakfast on the fire, and the drive back to Flagstaff.
